§80.56. May a State fish and wildlife agency receive an award to carry out part of a larger project?
50 C.F.R. § 80.56
Yes. A State fish and wildlife agency may receive an award to carry out part of a larger project that uses funds unrelated to the award. The part of the larger project funded by the award must:
Result in an identifiable outcome consistent with the purposes of the grant program;
Be substantial in character and design (see § 80.57);
Meet the requirements of §§ 80.130 through 80.137 for any real property acquired under the award and any capital improvements completed under the award; and
Meet all other requirements of the grant program.
