§296.9. Initial determination.
50 C.F.R. § 296.9
The Chief, FSD will make an initial determination on a claim within 60 days after the day on which the claim is accepted for filing. The initial determination will state:
If the claim is disapproved, the reason for disapproval, or
If the claim is approved, the amount of compensation and the basis on which the amount was determined.
