§112.55-15. Capacity of storage batteries.
46 C.F.R. § 112.55-15
A storage battery for an emergency lighting and power system must have the capacity—
To close all watertight doors two times;
To open all watertight doors once; and
To carry the remaining emergency loads continuously for the time prescribed in § 112.05-5(a), table 112.05-5(a).
At the end of the time specified in paragraph (a) of this section, the potential of the storage battery must be at least 88 percent of the standard voltage.
