§22.165. Emergency evacuation.
14 C.F.R. § 22.165
The aircraft must be designed and constructed—
So that all occupants have the ability to rapidly conduct an emergency evacuation; and
Except as provided in paragraph (b) of this section, to account for conditions likely to occur following an emergency landing.
Aircraft not intended for operation on water are not required to account for ditching in an emergency landing.
