§51507. Places of training
46 U.S.C. § 51507
The Secretary of Transportation may provide for the training of students attending a State maritime academy—
on vessels owned or subsidized by the United States Government;
on other documented vessels, with the permission of the owner; and
in shipyards or plants and with industrial or educational organizations.
