(b), is section 304 of act June 7, 1924, ch. 320, title III, 43 Stat. 625, which enacted section 515 of former Title 38, Pensions, Bonuses, and Veterans’ Relief, and which was repealed and the provisions thereof reenacted as this section by Pub. L. 85–857, § 14(51), Sept. 2, 1958, 72 Stat. 1271.
Amendments
1991—Pub. L. 102–83 renumbered section 759 of this title as this section and substituted “Secretary” for “Administrator” in subsec. (a).
1986—Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 99–576 substituted “the applicant’s” for “his” and “the applicant” for “he”.
