§22701. Organization

36 U.S.C. § 22701

(a)
Federal Charter.— AMVETS (American Veterans) (in this chapter, the “corporation”) is a federally chartered corporation.
(b)
Perpetual Existence.— Except as otherwise provided, the corporation has perpetual existence.
