§932.109. Canned ripe olives of the tree-ripened type.

7 C.F.R. § 932.109

(a)
Canned ripe olives of the tree-ripened type means packaged olives, not oxidized in processing, that are prepared from a lot or sublot of natural condition olives of advanced maturity which:
(1)
Range in color from pinkish red, with some greenish cast, to black; and
(2)
Have not more than 10 percent, by count, of off-color olives (off-color means those olives whose greenish cast covers more than 50 percent of the surface of the individual olives).
