§9701.407. Monitoring performance and providing feedback.
5 C.F.R. § 9701.407
In applying the requirements of the performance management system and its implementing directives and policies, supervisors must—
Monitor the performance of their employees and the organization; and
Provide timely periodic feedback to employees on their actual performance with respect to their performance expectations, including one or more interim performance reviews during each appraisal period.
