§847.802. Who may elect to use NAFI service to qualify for immediate retirement under CSRS or FERS?
5 C.F.R. § 847.802
CSRS and FERS employees may elect to credit NAFI service for retirement purposes under this subpart if:
They separate for retirement on or after December 28, 2001;
They do not otherwise qualify for immediate retirement; and
They have enough otherwise creditable civilian service to qualify for deferred retirement.
