§5.111. Cooperative information sharing.

The Department, as appropriate and to the extent practicable and permitted by law, shall:

(a)

Encourage voluntary self-reporting of regulatory violations by regulated parties in exchange for reduction or waivers of civil penalties;

(b)

Encourage voluntary information sharing by regulated parties; and

(c)

Provide pre-enforcement rulings to regulated parties (formal and informal interpretations).
