§40.399. How does the Department notify service agents of its decision?

49 C.F.R. § 40.399

If you are a service agent involved in a PIE proceeding, the Director provides you written notice as soon as he or she makes a PIE decision. The notice includes the following elements:
(a)
If the decision is not to issue a PIE, a statement of the reasons for the decision, including findings of fact with respect to any material factual issues that were in dispute.
(b)
If the decision is to issue a PIE—
(1)
A reference to the NOPE;
(2)
A statement of the reasons for the decision, including findings of fact with respect to any material factual issues that were in dispute;
(3)
A statement of the scope of the PIE; and
(4)
A statement of the duration of the PIE.
