§375.701. May I provide for a release of liability on my delivery receipt?

49 C.F.R. § 375.701

(a)

Your delivery receipt or shipping document must not contain any language purporting to release or discharge you or your agents from liability.

(b)

The delivery receipt may include a statement the property was received in apparent good condition except as noted on the shipping documents.
