§229.91. Motors and generators.
49 C.F.R. § 229.91
A motor or a generator may not have any of the following conditions:
Be shorted or grounded.
Throw solder excessively.
Show evidence of coming apart.
Have an overheated support bearing.
Have an excessive accumulation of oil.
