§1570.107. Recognition of prior or established security measures or programs.

49 C.F.R. § 1570.107

Previously provided security training may be credited towards satisfying the requirements of this subchapter provided the owner/operator—
(a)
Obtains a complete record of such training and validates the training meets requirements of § 1580.115, § 1582.115, or § 1584.115 of this subchapter as it relates to the function of the individual security-sensitive employee and the training was provided within the schedule required for recurrent training.
(b)
Retains a record of such training in compliance with the requirements of § 1570.121 of this part.
