§90.1217. 4.9 GHz Band Manager.
47 C.F.R. § 90.1217
The 4.9 GHz Band Manager will have the following primary responsibilities:
Frequency coordination and interference protection for 4.9 GHz band incumbent public safety operations;
Incentivizing the use of the latest commercially available technologies, including 5G;
Facilitating non-public safety use of the 4.9 GHz band.
Managing a sharing agreement with the First Responders Network Authority pursuant to §§ 90.1207(h) and 2.103(b) of this chapter; and
Filing an annual report with the Commission.
