§54.1802. Affordable connectivity benefit.

The Affordable Connectivity Program will provide reimbursement to a participating provider for the monthly affordable connectivity benefit on the price of broadband internet access service (including associated equipment necessary to provide such service) it provides to an eligible household plus any amount the participating provider is entitled to receive for providing a connected device to such a household under § 54.1803(b).
A participating provider may allow an eligible household to apply the affordable connectivity benefit to any residential service plan selected by the eligible household that includes broadband internet access service or a bundle of broadband internet access service along with fixed or mobile voice telephony service, text messaging service, or both.
