§1.7000. Purpose.
47 C.F.R. § 1.7000
The purposes of this subpart are to set out the terms by which certain commercial and government-controlled entities report data to the Commission concerning:
The provision of wired and wireless local telephone services and interconnected Voice over internet Protocol services;
The deployment of advanced telecommunications capability, as defined in 47 U.S.C. 1302, and services that are competitive with advanced telecommunications capability; and
The availability and quality of service of broadband internet access service.
