§69.179. Certification of markings.
46 C.F.R. § 69.179
Before a certificate of measurement is issued for a vessel requiring a tonnage mark, a certification by a measurement organization under § 69.15 that all markings meet the requirements of this subpart is required.
The Coast Guard, at any time, may verify markings under this subpart.
