§515.13. Investigation of applicants.
46 C.F.R. § 515.13
The Commission shall conduct an investigation of the applicant's qualifications for a license. Such investigations may address:
The accuracy of the information submitted in the application;
The integrity and financial responsibility of the applicant;
The character of the applicant and its qualifying individual; and
The length and nature of the qualifying individual's experience in handling ocean transportation intermediary duties.
