§153.1502. Fixed ballast relocation.
46 C.F.R. § 153.1502
No person may remove or relocate fixed ballast unless:
The change is approved by the Commandant (CG-ENG); or
The ballast is temporarily moved under the supervision of a Coast Guard Marine Inspector for examination or repair of the tankship.
