§111.105-43. Paint stowage or mixing spaces.
46 C.F.R. § 111.105-43
A space for the stowage or mixing of paint must not have any electric equipment, except:
Intrinsically safe electric equipment approved for a Class I, Division 1, Group D (Zone 0 or Zone 1) location;
Explosionproof electric equipment approved for a Class I, Division 1, Group D (Zone 0 or Zone 1) location; or
Through runs of marine shipboard cable.
