(a)
To the extent that sufficient funds are appropriated, Federal funding is available for cash assistance provided to eligible refugees during the 36-month period beginning with the first month the refugee entered the United States, as follows—
(1)
If a refugee is eligible for TANF, adult assistance programs, or foster care maintenance payments under title IV-E of the Social Security Act, FF is available only for the non-Federal share of such assistance.
(2)
If a refugee is eligible for SSI, FF is available for any supplementary payment a State may provide under that program.
(b)
Federal funding is available for refugees cash assistance (RCA) provided to eligible refugees during a period of time to be determined by the Director in accordance with
§ 400.211.
(c)
To the extent that sufficient funds are appropriated, Federal funding is available for general assistance (GA) provided to eligible refugees during the 24-month period beginning with the 13th month after the refugee entered the United States.
