§32.10. Refunds.
45 C.F.R. § 32.10
If the hearing official, pursuant to a hearing under this part, determines that a debt is not legally due and owing to the United States, the Secretary shall promptly refund any amount collected by means of administrative wage garnishment.
Unless required by Federal law or contract, refunds under this part shall not bear interest.
