45 C.F.R. § 1324.407

The State entity shall develop policies and procedures for the collection and maintenance of data on APS system response. The State entity shall:

(a)

Collect and report annually to ACL such APS system-wide data as required by the Assistant Secretary for Aging; and

(b)

Develop policies and procedures to ensure that the APS system retains individual case data obtained from APS investigations for a minimum of 5 years.
