§49.500. When can the Federal land manager assess a civil penalty?
43 C.F.R. § 49.500
The Federal land manager may assess a civil penalty upon any person who violates the provisions of this part or violates a permit issued under this part, in accordance with the process explained in this subpart.
For purposes of this subpart, each violation is considered a separate offense.
