§48.10. What is the Secretary's role in reviewing proposed amendments to the HHCA?

43 C.F.R. § 48.10

(a)
The Secretary must review proposed amendments to the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act (HHCA) by the State of Hawai'i to determine whether the proposed amendment requires approval of Congress.
(b)
The Secretary will notify the Chairman and Congress of this determination, and if approval is required, submit to Congress the documents required by § 48.35(b).
