§3179.73. Prior determinations regarding royalty-free flaring.

Approvals to flare royalty free, which are in effect as of the effective date of this rule, will continue in effect until November 1, 2024. After that date, the royalty-bearing status of all flaring will be determined according to the provisions of this subpart.
The provisions of this subpart do not affect any determination made by the BLM before or after June 10, 2024, with respect to the royalty-bearing status of flaring that occurred prior to June 10, 2024.
