§302-6.2. Eligibility for TQSE allowance.
41 C.F.R. § 302-6.2
Employees are eligible for a TQSE allowance if their agency has authorized one and the following conditions are met:
The agency authorizes TQSE before occupancy of the temporary quarters begins;
The new official station is located within the United States;
The relocation authorization specifies the number of days allowed to receive TQSE;
The employee has signed a service agreement;
The old and new official stations are at least 50 miles apart (as measured by map distance) via a usually traveled surface route; and
The employee meets the distance test (Note— If a waiver to the distance test is granted, the employee is not eligible for TQSE.).
