§65.8. Procedures for approval of alternative means of emission limitation. — Inbound Citations

(b) Authorities that will not be delegated to States: §§ 65.8, 65.46, 65.102, 65.156(b)(l)(ii), and 65.158(a)(2)(ii).

Any person seeking permission to use an alternative means of compliance under this section shall use the procedures of § 65.8.

(4) If in the judgment of the Administrator an alternative means of emission limitation will be approved, the Administrator will publish a notice of the determination in the Federal Register using the procedures pursuant to § 65.8(a).

(1) All reports and notifications required under this part shall be sent to the Administrator at the appropriate EPA Regional Office and to the delegated State authority, except that requests for permission to use an alternative means of emission limitation as provided for in § 65.8(a) shall be submitted to the Director of the EPA Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, MD-10, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, 27711. The EPA Regional Office may waive the requirement to receive a copy of any reports or notifications at its discretion.
