§63.461. Definitions. — Inbound Citations

  • (1) Subpart T of 9 VAC 5-60-100 Designated emission standards of Rule 6-2 (9 VAC 5-60-90 et seq.) of 9 VAC 5 Chapter 60 amended to adopt 40 CFR 63.460 through 63.469 by reference. This amendment was adopted on January 8, 1997, published in the Virginia Register of Regulations on March 31, 1997 and effective on May 1, 1997.
  • (1) If the cleaning machine has a solvent/air interface, as defined in § 63.461, the owner or operator shall comply with the requirements specified in paragraphs (a)(1)(i) and (a)(1)(ii) of this section.
    (ii) Ensure that the emissions from each solvent cleaning machine are equal to or less than the applicable emission limit presented in table 5 of this subpart as determined using the procedures in § 63.465(b) and (c).
  • (A) 250-RICR-120-05-0 and 250-RICR-120-05-36 pertain to organic solvent cleaning facilities in the State of Rhode Island's jurisdiction, and have been approved under the procedures in § 63.93 to be implemented and enforced in place of the Federal Halogenated Solvent NESHAP found at 40 CFR part 63, subpart T (except for those provisions listed under paragraphs (a)(40)(ii)(A)(1)(i)).
    (1) Authorities not delegated.
    (i) Rhode Island is not delegated the Administrator's authority to implement and enforce Rhode Island regulations at 250-RICR-120-05-0 and 250-RICR-120-05-36 in lieu of those provisions of subpart T of this part which apply to continuous web cleaning machines as defined in 40 CFR. § 63.461.
