§59.697. State actions.
40 C.F.R. § 59.697
The provisions in this subpart do not preclude any State or any political subdivision of a State from:
Adopting and enforcing any emission standard or limitation applicable to anyone subject to the provisions of this part; or
Requiring the regulated entity to obtain permits, licenses, or approvals prior to initiating construction, modification, or operation of a facility for manufacturing a consumer product.
