§49.4181. Other combustion devices.

Applicability. The VOC emission control requirements in this section apply to each owner or operator of any existing enclosed combustor or flare located at an oil and natural gas source as identified in § 49.4169(b) that is used to control VOC emissions, but that is not required under §§ 49.4173 through 49.4175 of this rule.

Retrofit requirements. All existing enclosed combustors and flares must be equipped with an operational electronically controlled automatic ignition device.
