§471.43. New source performance standards (NSPS).

Any new source subject to this subpart must achieve the following new source performance standards (NSPS):
Rolling Spent Neat Oils—subpart D—NSPS. There shall be no discharge of process wastewater pollutants.
Rolling spent emulsions.
Drawing spent neat oils—subpart D—NSPS. There shall be no discharge of process wastewater pollutants.
Drawing spent emulsions.
Drawing spent soap solutions.
Metal powder production atomization wastewater.
Heat treatment contact cooling water.
Semi-continuous and continuous casting contact cooling water.
Stationary casting contact cooling water—subpart D—NSPS. There shall be no discharge of process wastewater pollutants.
Direct chill casting contact cooling water.
Shot casting contact cooling water.
Wet air pollution control scrubber blowdown—subpart D—NSPS. There shall be no discharge of process wastewater pollutants.
Pressure bonding contact cooling water.
Surface treatment spent baths.
Surface treatment rinse.
Alkaline cleaning spent baths.
Alkaline cleaning rinse.
Alkaline cleaning pre-bonding wastewater.
Tumbling or burnishing wastewater.
Sawing or grinding spent neat oils—subpart D—NSPS. There shall be no discharge of process wastewater pollutants.
Sawing or grinding spent emulsions.
Degreasing spent solvents—subpart D—NSPS. There shall be no discharge of process wastewater pollutants.
