§267.197. What are the requirements for ancillary equipment?
40 C.F.R. § 267.197
You must provide ancillary equipment with secondary containment (for example, trench, jacketing, double-walled piping) that meets the requirements of § 267.195 (a) and (b), except for:
Above ground piping (exclusive of flanges, joints, valves, and other connections) that are visually inspected for leaks on a daily basis;
Welded flanges, welded joints, and welded connections, that are visually inspected for leaks on a daily basis;
Sealless or magnetic coupling pumps and sealless valves, that are visually inspected for leaks on a daily basis; and
Pressurized above ground piping systems with automatic shut-off devices (for example, excess flow check valves, flow metering shutdown devices, loss of pressure actuated shut-off devices) that are visually inspected for leaks on a daily basis.
