General. Tolerances are established for residues of mefenoxam, including its metabolites and degradates, in or on the commodities in the table below. Compliance with the tolerance levels specified below is to be determined by measuring only metalaxyl (methyl N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-N-(methoxyacetyl)-DL-alaninate).

Indirect or inadvertent residues. Tolerances are established for indirect or inadvertent residues of mefenoxam in or on the food commodities when present therein as a result of the application of mefenoxam to growing crops listed in paragraph (a) of this section and other non-food crops to read as follows:
