§148.11. Waste specific prohibitions—dioxin-containing wastes.
40 C.F.R. § 148.11
Effective August 8, 1988, the dioxin-containing wastes specified in § 261.31 as EPA Hazardous Waste Nos. F020, F021, F022, F023, F026, F027, and F028, and prohibited from underground injection.
The requirements of paragraph (a) of this section do not apply—
If the wastes meet or are treated to meet the applicable standards specified in subpart D of part 268; or
If an exemption from a prohibition has been granted in response to a petition under subpart C of this part; or
During the period of extension of the applicable effective date, if an extension has been granted under § 148.4 of this part.
