§51.160. Specialized rehabilitative services.
38 C.F.R. § 51.160
Provision of services. If specialized rehabilitative services such as but not limited to physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and mental health services for mental illness are required in the resident's comprehensive plan of care, facility management must—
Provide the required services; or
Obtain the required services from an outside resource, in accordance with § 51.210(h) of this part, from a provider of specialized rehabilitative services.
Specialized rehabilitative services must be provided under the written order of a physician by qualified personnel.
