§1202.76. Can NARA deny my request for amendment?
36 C.F.R. § 1202.76
If the system manager denies your request to amend or determines that the record should be amended in a manner other than that requested by you, NARA will advise you in writing of the decision. The denial letter will state:
The reasons for the denial of your amendment request;
Proposed alternative amendments, if appropriate;
Your right to appeal the denial; and
The procedures for appealing the denial.
