§692.94. What requirements must a State satisfy, as the administrator of a partnership, to receive GAP Program funds?
34 C.F.R. § 692.94
To receive GAP Program funds for any fiscal year—
A State must—
Participate in the LEAP Program;
Establish a State partnership with—
At least—
One public degree-granting institution of higher education that is located in the State; and
One private degree-granting institution of higher education, if at least one exists in the State that may be eligible to participate in the State's LEAP Program under subpart A of this part;
New or existing early information and intervention, mentoring, or outreach programs located in the State; and
At least one philanthropic organization located in, or that provides funding in, the State, or private corporation located in, or that does business in, the State;
Meet the requirements in § 692.100; and
Have a program under this subpart that satisfies the requirements in § 692.21(a), (e), (f), (g), and (j).
A State may provide an early information and intervention, mentoring, or outreach program under paragraph (a)(2)(ii) of this section.
