§34.21. Employer certification.
34 C.F.R. § 34.21
Along with a garnishment order, we send to an employer a certification in a form prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury.
The employer must complete and return the certification to us within the time stated in the instructions for the form.
The employer must include in the certification information about the debtor's employment status, payment frequency, and disposable pay available for withholding.
