§150.512. What occurs during the weekly tests and inspections?

33 C.F.R. § 150.512

The required weekly tests and inspections of lifesaving equipment are as follows:
(a)
The operator must visually inspect each survival craft, rescue boat, and launching device to ensure its readiness for use;
(b)
The operator must test the general alarm system; and
(c)
The operator must test for readiness of the engine, starting device, and communications equipment of each lifeboat and rescue boat according to the manufacturer's instructions.
