§585.418. How will BOEM issue a suspension?
30 C.F.R. § 585.418
BOEM will issue a suspension order orally or in writing.
BOEM will send you a written suspension order as soon as practicable after issuing an oral suspension order.
The written order will explain the reasons for its issuance and describe the effect of the suspension order on your lease or grant and any associated activities. BOEM may authorize certain activities during the period of the suspension, as set forth in the suspension order.
