§541.47. Admission to control unit.
28 C.F.R. § 541.47
Staff shall provide an inmate admitted to a control unit with:
Notice of the projected duration of the inmate's confinement in a control unit;
Notice of the type of personal property which is allowable in the unit (items made of glass or metal will not be permitted);
A summary of the guidelines and disciplinary procedures applicable in the unit;
An explanation of the activities in a control unit;
The expectations of the inmate's involvement in control unit activities; and
The criteria for release from the unit, and how those criteria specifically relate to this confinement period in the unit and any specific requirements in the inmate's individual case.
