§169.106. How does an applicant identify and contact individual Indian landowners to negotiate a right-of-way?
25 C.F.R. § 169.106
Applicants may submit a written request to us to obtain the following information. The request must specify that it is for the purpose of negotiating a right-of-way:
Names and addresses of the individual Indian landowners or their representatives;
Information on the location of the parcel; and
The percentage of undivided interest owned by each individual Indian landowner.
We may assist applicants in contacting the individual Indian landowners or their representatives for the purpose of negotiating a right-of-way, upon request.
We will attempt to assist individual Indian landowners in right-of-way negotiations, upon their request.
