§162.242. How will BIA decide whether to approve an amendment to an agricultural lease?

25 C.F.R. § 162.242

We will approve an agricultural lease amendment if:
(a)
The required consents have been obtained from the parties to the lease under § 162.230 and any sureties; and
(b)
We find the amendment to be in the best interest of the Indian landowners, under the standards set forth in § 162.213 of this subpart.
