§982.629. Homeownership option: Additional PHA requirements for family search and purchase.
24 C.F.R. § 982.629
The PHA may establish the maximum time for a family to locate a home, and to purchase the home.
The PHA may require periodic family reports on the family's progress in finding and purchasing a home.
If the family is unable to purchase a home within the maximum time established by the PHA, the PHA may issue the family a voucher to lease a unit or place the family's name on the waiting list for a voucher.
