§1005.405. Borrower residency status.
24 C.F.R. § 1005.405
An eligible Borrower who is an Indian must be:
A U.S. citizen; or
A lawful permanent resident alien.
Documentation must be provided to the Direct Guarantee Lender to support lawful residency status as defined in the Immigration and Nationality Act, codified at 8 U.S.C. 1101, et seq.
