§1101.16. Criminal penalties.

Under the provisions of the Act, it is a Federal crime for any person to knowingly and willfully request or obtain information from a Federal agency, including this Section, by false pretenses.
It is also a crime for any officer or employee of the Section to knowingly and willfully—
Make an unauthorized disclosure; or
Fail to publish public notice of a system of records as required by 5 U.S.C. 552a(e)(4).
