§416.1439. Objections to the issues. — Inbound Citations

(c) If the Appeals Council assumes responsibility for a hearing request(s), it shall conduct all proceedings in accordance with the rules set forth in §§ 416.1429 through 416.1461, as applicable.

(c) If the Appeals Council assumes responsibility for issuing a decision and a hearing is necessary to complete adjudication of the claim(s), an administrative appeals judge will hold a hearing using the procedures set forth in §§ 416.1429 through 416.1461, as applicable.

(4) A denial is final when made, unless you appeal the denial timely as described in §§ 416.1400 through 416.1499.
